Later in Ezekiel 8 the prophet paints a sad picture of what people representing God to the world were doing. They thought they were doing good things, but the Lord showed Ezekiel their actions were an abomination. I wrote down, "Prophecy is declaring reality to a people who can't see clearly because of sin."
Tomorrow I was asked to do a dramatic reading from another prophet, Daniel.
It reminded me that I did the voice of Daniel in a promotion for a preaching series on the Book of Daniel for Trinity Community Church in Knoxville, TN.
I got permission from the filmmakers at Evergreen Media Productions to share this, and at the end it advertises a sermon series that already happened at Trinity. We’ve featured Tracy Robinson and her documentary The Matter of Lifeseveral times, so for the one-year anniversary of the abolition of Roe v. Wade and Life Month, we’re delighted to share a short film she created in preparation for the feature. Watch “Penny: Portrait of a Birth Mom” below. It has an introduction by Robinson, followed by thoughts from Leona Worcester, who plays the birth mother, and Rebekah Cook, who plays the adoptive mother.

The ill-kept man hurled this curse at Sean Feucht as the worship leader called upon the crowd in Times Square to dream and pray New York would become a state honoring and supporting life. Feucht — no stranger to hecklers — responded with firm graciousness, calling upon the crowd to drown out the call for death with prayers for life.

Ending the Evil of Trafficking

Lord, we renounce, repent for, and declare the ending of the sin of human trafficking and the effects of that sin. In Jesus’ Name.
When three-year-old Madeleine McCann disappeared from a holiday apartment in Portugal in 2007, I mourned. I had been interceding for stolen children for some time. The Lord often would share their faces with me or whisper a place name and the dreadful word — “kidnapping.” My stomach seized and my heart raced in these moments.
New Film Is a Surprise Blockbuster

Lord, use powerful films like Sound of Freedom to turn hearts to prayer and action, that those created in your image may be set free from trafficking.
The film Sound of Freedom hopes to catalyze the ending of illegal slavery in our day. It’s off to a great start! The film brought in $2.5M more than the #2 film at the box office on the Fourth of July. The second place film happened to be Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in 2,000 more theaters and with a Walt Disney Studios budget that dwarfed that of Sound of Freedom. Interestingly, when Disney bought 21st Century Fox, they shelved Sound of Freedom, which was going to be distributed by Fox.
That night our IFA State Prayer Group prayed for the end of trafficking. It was a powerful day of intercession, and we sense we took ground back from the enemy of our souls!
